53 Week Journey through the Land of Drapes and Colors: Week #31
For details on all the sarees I have posted so far, go here.
In my neighborhood the HOA has planted a lot of Hydrangea plants along the borders of each of our unit properties. They are of three colors - Blueish Purple, Green and White (when these two colors are White to begin with). Since I was doing this saree series, my dear friend, Sunita, suggested that I should photograph myself with the flowers in the background.
So when they were in full bloom right before the white turned to green, a couple months ago, with her help, we did this saree photoshoot and I have another photo for my blog. This saree goes perfectly with the background in my honest opinion. Also for the very first time I edited the photo, played around with the colors and tints and effects.

This is a Green Raw Silk woven saree with gold and silver zari mango-shaped brocade motifs all along the saree woven through, larger of them concentrated on the bottom border, accentuated with a thick gold zari border. Paired it with a matching blouse.
I accessorized with 1 gram gold large pendant necklace with green and white stones and earrings of the same type; and color coordinating bangles on my hands.
Although I chose the edited picture for the blog, here are other that my friend took. I think each and every one of them came out really good, thanks to my friend.
