Raw Banana Sambar / Aratikaya Sambar

What would you want to do other than a curry when the lone Raw Banana in your fridge is close to turning to ripe? Well, I had a bulb glow up above my head. Why not make Sambar? And why sambar, you may ask. Well something is close to turning to ripe it is easier to put it in a savory soup of vegetables and still remain as tasty as ever. :) Lo and behold! Raw Banana Sambar / Aratikaya Sambar is ready to eat and enjoy!!

I used the same recipe as Sambar that I make always, except added Raw Bananas after adding Onions. Make sure they are sliced thinly so they get cooked evenly. Have fun creating my version in your kitchens too. :P
