Magic In Tunes: 12/15/2015 - Jo Tumko Ho Pasand Wahi Baat Kahenge

Feroz Khan, actor director and producer was a glamorous actor and aptly called as the Clint Eastwood of the East. His movies were all bad ass and became a rave in the hindi film world. His famous movies include Aadmi Aur Insaan (1969), Dharmatma (1975), Qurbani (1980), Janbaaz (1986) and Dayavan (1988).  His last movie was 2007 Welcome before he lost his battle with cancer two years later. A legend who changed the look of Hindi cinema forever, much remembered for his style as well.

Here's a romantic melody from the 1970 hit Hindi film Safar ( = Journey). I always thought this was from Janbaaz instead its from a much earlier movie of Feroz Khan. Sung by Mukesh, the Music was composed by Kalyanji Anandji with Lyrics penned by Indeevar.

Lyrics in Romanized Hindi:

Jo Tumko Ho Pasand Wahi Baat Kahenge
Jo Tumko Ho Pasand Wahi Baat Kahenge; Jo Tumko Ho Pasand Wahi Baat Kahenge
Tum Din Ko Agar Raat Kaho Raat Kahenge; Jo Tumko Ho Pasand Wahi Baat Kahenge

Dete Na Aap Saath Toh Mar Jaate Hum Kabhi Ke
Dete Na Aap Saath Toh Mar Jaate Hum Kabhi Ke
Poore Huye Hain Aap Se Armaan Zindagi Ke
Hum Zindagi Ko Aap Ki; Hum Zindagi Ko Aap Ki
Hum Zindagi Ko Aap Ki Saugat Kahenge
Tum Din Ko Agar Raat Kaho Raat Kahenge; Jo Tumko Ho Pasand Wahi Baat Kahenge

Chaahenge, Nibhaayenge, Sarhaayenge Aap Hi Ko
Chaahenge, Nibhaayenge, Sarhaayenge Aap Hi Ko
Aankho Mein Dum Hai Jab Tak Dekhenge Aap Hi Ko
Apni Zubaan Se Aapke; Apni Zubaan Se Aapke
Apni Zubaan Se Aapke Jazbaat Kahenge
Tum Din Ko Agar Raat Kaho Raat Kahenge; Jo Tumko Ho Pasand Wahi Baat Kahenge
Jo Tumko Ho Pasand Wahi Baat Kahenge
