Jagapathi Babu's second movie was Adavilo Abhimanyudu ( = Adavi meaning Forest; Abhimanyudu is name of a boy = Abimanyudu In The Forest) that was released in 1989. Plot dealt with One Man Commando Operation where Captain Abhimanyu (portrayed by Jagapathi Babu) sets on to find a missing military aircraft along with Captain Suresh (portrayed by Vinod Kumar). Something about the movie, men in uniform and the mystery of the forest retained this in my memory although I watched a VCR print of it on a B&W TV. And perhaps a little crush on the lead actor Jagapathi Babu as well. **Silly Grin**
One song in particular kept on nudging my brain was this silly melody. It's tune was copied from a hit Hindi song that was a much better melody. The Telugu version was Sung by S. P. Balasubrahmaniam and Chitra. Music was composed by K. V. Mahadevan and Lyrics penned by Aatreya.
The original Hindi version was from the 1967 hit film Farz ( = Duty) Sung by Mohd. Rafi. Music composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal and Lyrics penned by Anand Bakshi
