Ripe Banana Curry

Ripe Banana Curry: Have you ever heard of a curry with a Ripe Banana? I havent heard till a few days ago. Was browsing to see if I can make something easy, simple and quick with Bananas that is not a Custard, Fruit Salad or a Shake, I came across this recipe. I have to say, "It is so easy, even a caveman can do it!". **Quirky Laugh** This post is specially dedicated to my "Novice Chef", shanthala and my "Veteran Chef", prashanthchengi. Enjoy cooking, guys! :)

Recipe:

1) Chop a cup of Methi (Fenugreek Leaves) into a bowl.
2) Add three Ripe Bananas sliced thinly into the same bowl.
3) Add 1 tsp Red Chili Powder, 1 tsp Coriander Powder, 1 tsp Cumin Powder, pinch of Turmeric, Salt per taste and 1 tsp Ginger Paste. It is important to mix the ingredients first in the bowl before putting on the stove because of the softness of Bananas.

4) Mix gently with a ladle.

5) In a small sauce pan, heat 2 tsps of Oil.
6) Once the oil heats up, add 1 tsp of Mustard Seeds, let them sputter a little.

7) Now add the mixed contents of the bowl and stir gently.
8) Simmer on low flame for 4 to 5 mins by stirring only once in between. Do not keep it for more than 5 minutes else the Bananas will get mushy and sticky. You want to keep the Bananas whole at the end of the curry too.

9) Remove from flame. Serve with Rice or Roti.
