10/29/2012: Bitter Gourd Bhujiya - Bitter Gourd or Karela is my most favorite vegetable even though it is bitter in taste. In order to try new things with the vegetable, I came across this recipe for a quick Bhujiya or Snack. I have to say that even though it was made of a bitter vegetable, the dish turned out spicy and sweet making the bitterness an added flavor rather than a negative taste. Of course my friend RS would definitely want to share more reasons beyond mentioned above as to why I love Bitter Gourd so much. Not a chance, RS! **Wicked grin**

Also, is this VERY bitter, or does the cooking method decrease the bitterness?
