07/21/2012: Black-Eyed Peas Breakfast - This is one breakfast that I make when I remember to soak the dry Black-Eyed Peas in water for 24 hrs. Once the Peas are soaked for 24 hours, filter the water and keep aside. In a skillet heat 1 tsp Oil, add 1/4 tsp each of Mustard and Jeera Seeds, a few Curry leaves and 1 medium Green Chili chopped. Fry a little and add the Peas. Stir once. Add Salt and Coconut Powder, stir once and remove from flame. Squeeze 1/2 fresh lime for added taste. Serve cold or hot. Healthy, yummy breakfast!
