05/28/2012: Oats Methi - Another dish in my "Obsession with Oats" series.. :P Very easy to make and perfect for a breakfast food.
Recipe: In a pan heat 1 tsp of Oil. Add grated Ginger, a few Curry Leaves, 2 Dry Red Chili and 1 medium Onion chopped. Saute for 2 mins. Add 1/2 cup of Methi Leaves chopped lightly and Saute for a few mins. Add Salt, 1/2 cup yellow Moong Dal (pre-soaked for 10 mins) and 3 cups of Water. Bring it to a boil. Add 1 cup Oats and little more Salt if required. Cook under low flame until everything gets cooked well. Remove from flame and serve warm.
