04/30/2012 - Ginger Dosa (Kerala Style) - Another recipe from the state of Kerala, Ginger Dosa, a different kind of Dosa. It tasted yummy too. Try it and see for yourself. :)




Ingredients:

Ginger – 2 large pieces ground to fine paste
Besan / Senagapindi – 1 cup
Wheat flour – 1 cup
Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
Dry red chillies - 3 or 4 in number that are ground to fine paste
Onion - 1/2 medium chopped finely
Coriander / Cilantro - a few sprigs finely chopped
Salt – As reqd
Water - As reqd

Procedure: Mix all the ingredients into a dosa batter. Batter should be a little thicker than the regular dosa batter. On a dosa pan, spray little oil. Pour a ladle full of the batter and cook it on both sides. Serve with Chutney or Pickle or Chutney Powder.
