Magic In Tunes: 11/02/2015 - Rayini Adadhi Chesina Ramudiva; Ganganu Thalapai Mose Sivudiva

A few posts ago I had mentioned about a song (Detailed post here) that I had mixed with another one. Incidentally my sister pointed me the right song and here it is. From the 1982 hit Telugu film Trishulam, this song was indeed pictured on Krishnam Raju and Jayasudha true to how it was stuck in my mind. :) Music was composed by K. V. Mahadevan and Lyrics penned by Atreya. This melodious song was Sung by S. P. Balashubrahmanyam and P. Susheela.

Lyrics in Romanized Telugu:

Magic In Tunes: 11/03/2015 - Randy Travis on Matlock

I was watching a re-run of Matlock episodes and one of the episode, titled The Big Payoff, had the country singer, Randy Travis in it. He portrays as a drifter who gets hired by Matlock (portrayed by Andy Griffith) paint his house. He turns out to be a lousy painter but gets complimented from Matlock that he could become a great singer. Matlock even ventures to help him meet with a friend of his who is music business that could perhaps take his career further. It was amusing to see him as a struggling singer when he was already well established in real-life.

In the episode he sings three songs and two of which Andy Griffith supports in vocals as well: Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad (Written by Big Bill Broonzy, Vocals supported by Andy Griffith), Life Of The Party (Written by Allen Shamblin and Billy Kirsch), Nobody's Darling But Mine (Written by Jimmie Davis, Vocals supported by Andy Griffith). Here is a part of the episode where he sings the song "Life Of The Party"
