Magic In Tunes: 06/10/2015 – Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Sung by Judy Garland in the 1939 classic movie Wizard of Oz, has become an inspirational song for many people and has been sung by many singers too. No wonder this classical ballad went on to win an Academy Award. Music was composed by Harold Arlen and Lyrics were penned by E. Y. Harburg. Somedays we really want that place where there are no troubles and dreams really do come true.

Lyrics in English:

Somewhere Over The Rainbow Way Up High
There's A Land That I Heard Of Once In A Lullaby
Somewhere Over The Rainbow Skies Are Blue
And The Dreams That You Dare To Dream Really Do Come True

Someday I'll Wish Upon A Star
And Wake Up Where The Clouds Are Far
Behind Me
Where Troubles Melt Like Lemon Drops
Away Above The Chimney Tops
That's Where You'll Find Me

Somewhere Over The Rainbow Bluebirds Fly
Birds Fly Over The Rainbow. Why Then, Oh, Why Can't I?

If Happy Little Bluebirds Fly
Beyond The Rainbow Why, Oh, Why Can't I?
