Magic In Tunes: 05/29/2015 – Destress, Eat, Listen, Relax

Cooking is my best stress buster apart from swimming. Finally I got to take a day off, created magic in my kitchen, enjoyed the results, rested well with a book in my hand and music playing low in the background. Oh What a Relief it was!! Here’s one of the song that was playing.

From the 2012 hit Telugu fantasy film Eega ( = I Am a Fly) Sung by Deepu, Rahul Sipligunj, Sravana Bhargavi and Chaitra. Music composed by M. M. Keeravani and Lyrics penned by Ramajogayya Sastry. The beats pumped energy into the magic I was creating in the kitchen. :)

Magic In Tunes: 05/30/2015 – Bitter-sweet Day

It was a day filled with mixed emotions. On one hand my heart went out to a friend who is going thru a tough time and on another hand I am having fun helping organize a party and enjoy scrumptious home-made food. What a day! And I am picking the happy part. Since we had so much fun eating Pooris, Chole and Shahi Tukda, here’s a song that shows kids enjoying a feast.

From the 1972 Telugu film Bala Bharatam ( = Kids enacting the Mahabharatha), this song is aptly titled Vindhu Bhojanam Pasandu Bhojanam ( = It’s a Feast, Lovely Feast). Sung by L. R. Eswari, Music composed by Saluri Rajeshwara Rao and Lyrics penned by Kosaraju. Movie was pictured in Eastman Color.
