Magic In Tunes: 04/10/2015 – National Siblings day
So the world celebrated April 10th as the National Siblings Day. In the Indian culture we have two special days dedicated to brother-sister relationships – Rakshabandhan that falls on the full moon day in the month of Sharavan (usually July or August per the English calendar); Bhau-Beej / Bhai Dooj that falls on the last day of the five day festival of Diwali in the month of Karthik (usually October or November per the English calendar). It was interesting to see another day dedicated to the same followed by most of the countries in the world. So, here’s a song dedicated to my two siblings who have always been there for me thru thick and thin; and I do hope so they feel the same about me.
“Lean On Me”, song Written and Sung by Bill Withers, released as the first single of his 1972 album Still Bill.
Lyrics in English:
Sometimes In Our Lives We All Have Pain
“Lean On Me”, song Written and Sung by Bill Withers, released as the first single of his 1972 album Still Bill.
Lyrics in English:
Sometimes In Our Lives We All Have Pain
We All Have Sorrow
But If We Are Wise
We Know That There's Always Tomorrow
Lean On Me, When You're Not Strong
Lean On Me, When You're Not Strong
And I'll Be Your Friend
I'll Help You Carry On
For It Won't Be Long
'Til I'm Gonna Need
Somebody To Lean On
Please Swallow Your Pride
Please Swallow Your Pride
If I Have Faith You Need To Borrow
For No One Can Fill Those Of Your Needs
That You Won't Let Show
You Just Call On Me Brother, When You Need A Hand
You Just Call On Me Brother, When You Need A Hand
We All Need Somebody To Lean On
I Just Might Have A Problem That You'll Understand
We All Need Somebody To Lean On
Lean On Me, When You're Not Strong
Lean On Me, When You're Not Strong
And I'll Be Your Friend
I'll Help You Carry On
For It Won't Be Long
'Til I'm Gonna Need
Somebody To Lean On
You Just Call On Me Brother, When You Need A Hand
You Just Call On Me Brother, When You Need A Hand
We All Need Somebody To Lean On
I Just Might Have A Problem That You'll Understand
We All Need Somebody To Lean On
If There Is A Load You Have To Bear
If There Is A Load You Have To Bear
That You Can't Carry
I'm Right Up The Road
I'll Share Your Load
If You Just Call Me (Call Me)
If You Just Call Me (Call Me)
If You Need A Friend (Call Me) Call Me Uh Huh(Call Me) If You Need A Friend (Call Me)
If You Ever Need A Friend (Call Me)
Call Me (Call Me) Call Me (Call Me) Call Me
(Call Me) Call Me (Call Me) If You Need A Friend
(Call Me) Call Me (Call Me) Call Me (Call Me) Call Me (Call Me) Call Me (Call Me)
