Magic in Tunes: 01/01/2015 – Salaame, Salaame, Salame Kar Le Salaame

Music, an alternate option to let go of your emotions, lift your spirits, brood along, shake a leg or join in the lyrics. As much as I enjoy reading books, I love listening to all kinds of music as well with the same passion. And I would like to share my world with you all. Welcome to 2015’s theme for my daily blog, “Magic in Tunes”.

Wishing everyone a wonderful and spectacular New Year. Kicking off my daily blog with this quick melody from the 2004 Hindi Blockbuster hit movie Dhoom, Music by Pritam, Lyrics by Sameer and Sung by Kunal Ganjawala and Vasundhara Das. Enjoy!!!

I believe this was the only movie that I liked John Abraham in…apart from his hot hunk looks I don’t really think he can act well. He is lucky his hot looks has given him roles for so long. Esha Deol also was portrayed in a second lead role against Uday Chopra. However, she couldn’t shine and infact I don’t think she could shine in any of the movies and the star winked out before long. Her mother Hema Malini really left a deep and big shoe that unfortunately failed Esha to fit it.

Dhoom also saw Abhishek with a new face and charm. Prior to Dhoom, Abhishek had a streak of flops with a partial to marginal success here and there until he was cast as Lallan Singh in Yuva in 2004 before Dhoom. He magically transformed himself from the chubby, puppy faced Abhishek to the gruff looking roughian, aping his father Amitabh Bachchan a little of course, to become successful. Yuva gave him the successful look he needed which he polished it in Dhoom. Success of Dhoom made him the "Most Eligible Bachelor" in India overnight in 2004.

Well, enjoy the song before I start rambling off on this movie which could as well become a post within the post. :P
