Pichla | Agla

In one of the episode of the series "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" on Hallmark Channel, this song was playing in the background. I believe it was the Sarah Vaughan's version that Oliver uses to dance with Holly in the Mailbox Grille in the episode. However, this was originally Sung by Vernon Duke for the 1932 Broadway musical Walk A Little Faster. Lyrics were penned by E. Y. Harburg. Several singers and composers have reprised this song since then like Louis Armstrong, Bill Evans, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. etc. I wonder if Oliver picks Sarah's version because he sees a flicker of hope in the song as he had all along seen when he was reunited with Holly again. It was a sweet version although the end was different for Oliver.

Well, hope you enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed too.

Lyrics in English:

April In Paris, Chestnuts In Blossom; Holiday Tables Under The Trees
April In Paris, This Is A Feeling; That No One Can Ever Reprise

I Never Knew The Charm Of Spring; I Never Met It Face To Face
I Never Knew My Heart Could Sing; I Never Missed A Warm Embrace
Till April In Paris

Whom Can I Run To?
What Have You Done To My Heart?

April In Paris, This Is A Feeling; That No One Can Ever Reprise
I Never Knew The Charm Of Spring; I Never Met It Face To Face
I Never Knew My Heart Could Sing; I Never Missed A Warm Embrace
Till April In Paris

Whom Can I Run To?
What Have You Done To My Heart?
